Beachbody CEO Carl Daikeler announced yesterday that Canadian residents will be able to sign up as Team Beachbody coaches starting Oct.1, 2012.
Here’s how it works: any Canadian wishing to become a Team Beachbody Coach can start October 1, 2012! Beachbody is working out the legalities of the business, but we’re excited to see this long awaited opportunity come to Canada! Canadians will initially sign up as coaches with a United States business.
What this means?
Any Canadian who signs up to be a Team Beachbody Coach as of October 1st will have a US business. Anything sold will be in US dollars; taxes will need to be reported to the Canadian tax authority. Programs like P90X, Insanity, TurboFire, etc. will still be offered in retail outlets, but the programs will cost more in the store compared to ordering the programs though you as a Team Beachbody Coach.
Once all the legalities are worked out and coaching officially opens in Canada, any Canadian Beachbody Coach signed up as a US coach will become an OFFICIAL Canadian Team Beachbody Coach! All US accounts will then be transferred over.
